Shakeout Society organises and sells its own race-weekend services for hybrid sports athletes: shakeout runs, welcome and celebration dinners, body composition and performance testing, wellness workshops, race photography, goodie bags and other curated activities and add-ons. We do not sell, resell, package or take payment for accommodation. Any hotels mentioned on our event pages are editorial recommendations only — you book your accommodation yourself, directly with the hotel of your choice, under that hotel's own terms.
When you place an order on our site, you are purchasing a selection of individual Shakeout Society activities, dinners and add-ons for a specific race weekend. Each item is priced and sold on its own merits. Your order is an agreement between you and Shakeout Society for those specific items only — it is not a travel package and does not include transport, accommodation, race entry or any third-party service. Payment is processed securely via Stripe; your card details never reach our servers.
Your order is confirmed once payment is successful, and a confirmation email is sent to the address you provided. Each activity or dinner has a limited capacity. If an item sells out before your payment completes, you will receive a refund for that specific item within 5 business days, and the rest of your order will remain confirmed.
Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to hello@shakeoutsociety.com and refer to your order number. The following schedule applies to the activities and dinners purchased from us (it does not apply to any hotel reservation, which you must cancel directly with the hotel under that hotel's own policy):
More than 30 days before the event: Full refund minus a €10 administration fee per order. 15–30 days before the event: 50% refund. Less than 15 days before the event: No refund. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval.
Once paid, an order cannot be modified or partially cancelled through the website. You can, however, add further activities, dinners or add-ons at any time before they sell out — this is done by placing a new order linked to your original one. To remove or change items already purchased, contact us by email; we will handle the request manually under the cancellation policy in section 4.
Shakeout Society is responsible for the activities and dinners we organise. We are not responsible for any accommodation, transport, race entry, medical service or other third-party service you arrange yourself, even where we have mentioned that third party editorially on our website. Participation in physical activities (including shakeout runs and wellness sessions) is at your own risk, and you confirm you are medically fit to take part.
All participants are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests, staff and partner venues. Shakeout Society reserves the right to remove participants who engage in disruptive, threatening or unsafe behaviour, without refund.
All content on this website is the property of Shakeout Society and may not be reproduced without permission.
We may modify schedules, venues, suppliers or programmes due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure, supplier failure, safety considerations, regulatory changes). Where a material item you purchased is cancelled by us, you will be offered a like-for-like substitute or a refund for that item.
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. EU consumers retain any mandatory rights under the laws of their country of residence and may use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
